What is the Tint Percentage?

Light Tint (50-70% VLT): Ideal for those seeking minimal shading but maximum UV protection and heat rejection. It provides a subtle appearance while offering protection and reducing glare.

Medium Tint (35-50% VLT): A popular choice for balanced privacy and sun protection without significantly darkening the vehicle’s appearance. It offers a great combination of style and functionality.

Dark Tint (15-35% VLT): Perfect for drivers looking for enhanced privacy and sun protection. This level significantly reduces heat and blocks UV rays while giving your vehicle a sleek look.

Limo Tint (5-15% VLT): The darkest option available, offering maximum privacy and protection. It’s ideal for those looking to reduce interior visibility significantly and achieve the highest UV and heat reduction level.

Ceramic Tint VS Regular Tint?

Ceramic tint offers superior heat rejection, UV protection, and glare reduction compared to regular tint, thanks to its advanced nano-ceramic particles that do not interfere with electronics or signals. Regular tint, while more affordable, primarily focuses on aesthetics and basic sun shading, providing less effective performance in heat and UV blocking.

Darkest Window Tinting Allowed in Florida

Passenger Vehicles (cars, sedans, etc.):

Front Windshield: The tint must be non-reflective and can only be applied above the AS-1 line provided by the manufacturer or the top 6 inches of the windshield.
Front Side Windows: Must allow more than 28% of light in.
Back Side Windows: Must allow more than 15% of light in.
Rear Window (back windshield): Must allow more than 15% of light in.

Multi-Purpose Vehicles (SUVs, vans, trucks, etc.):

Front Windshield: The tint on the windshield can only be non-reflective and applied above the AS-1 line provided by the manufacturer or the top 6 inches of the windshield.
Front Side Windows: Must allow more than 28% of light in.
Back Side Windows: Any darkness can be used.
Rear Window (back windshield): Any darkness can be used.

Additional Requirements:

Reflectivity: For both front and back side windows, the reflectivity of the tint must not be more than 25% reflective.
Certification: The film manufacturers need to certify the film sold in the state of Florida, and your installer must use certified film.
Sticker Requirements: A sticker to identify legal tinting is required between the film & glass on the driver’s side window.
